This project was about designing in the urban context becuase we have not really be restrcited yet in our land use. Our site was on Second and Christians Streets in Queens Village, Philadelphia. 

I had done some previous analysis work on a house in India called the Parekh House by Charles Correa, which was all about efficency and keeping the the house passively cooled.  I used many of the techniques that Correa used in my design
